R.A.Desilets was born and raised in a small New Hampshire town. She attended Emerson College in Boston in 2005. She was a Resident Assistant for the Digital Culture Floor for two years. She graduate Emerson College with a Bachelor's in Writing, Literature, and Publishing as well as TV/Video Production and a Photography minor with Magna Cum Laude standing.
She moved to Los Angeles in January 2009, originally with the Emerson College program. She worked with @Radical Media as an intern and worked on several music videos, which can be seen on the Other Works page.
Although she enjoyed her time on set, she realized that television was not her passion. For a year, she worked two part time jobs and struggled for money before landing a full time position at CCI. She is pursuing her writing career independently. She is attending writing courses at SMC to keep herself on top of her task. She owns a wine review blog and is engaged to Colin C.
